None of these homes are in the Gainesville Real Estate market, however, I thought it would be cool to preview the most expensive NFL star’s homes that were on the market during the past year.
Kicking off the list at number 5 Walter Jones with a three-point five million dollar mansion on the market. If you’re looking for a home with room to toss around the pigskin, the former Seattle Seahawks lineman’s Huntsville, Alabama mansion might be for you as its own full-size football field.
Coming in at number four is grocery store stock boy turned NFL quarterback Kurt Warner, who was MVP of Super Bowl Thirty-Four, just listed his Paradise Valley, Arizona luxury home for four-point ninety nine million dollars.
We’re getting into the red zone, folks. Here are the Top 3 most expensive homes of past Super Bowl greats.
At number three with close to seven million dollar home is defensive end Michael Strahan, whose career highlight included helping the Giants defeat the then-undefeated New England Patriots in Super Bowl Forty-Two.
Coming in at second place is Troy Aikman, the former Dallas Cowboys quarterback. He listed his eleven-thousand, five hundred-square-foot Dallas mansion for twenty-four million dollars.
And the NFL superbowl player with the house that tops the chart with the most expensive house on the market? That would be the legendary quarterback and former San Francisco 49ers and Kansas City Chiefs, Joe Montana with a thirty-five million dollar Napa Valley, California home. He’s “Joe Cool” on the field, so he’ll hopefully be able to stand the real estate pressure as he waits for his five-hundred acre property to sell. As a realtor in the Gainesville real estate market, selling one of these babies would be fun and the commission would be enough to retire on.

I am asked constantly about the state of the Gainesville real estate market and for perdictions for the coming year. To help address these important questions, I am honored to have a guest writer, Emma Crawford, featured today with an article as result of her extensive research.

I get asked this question often; What is the difference between market value and appraised value? The appraised value of your Gainesville real estate is a certified appraiser’s opinion of the worth of a home at a given point in time. Lenders require appraisals as part of the loan application process; fees range from $200 to $300. Your Gainesville real estate market value is what price the house will bring at a given point in time. A comparative market analysis is an informal estimate of market value, based on sales of comparable properties, performed by a real estate agent or broker. Either an appraisal or a comparative market analysis is the most accurate way to determine what your Gainesville real estate is worth.
